The association operates in the field of consumer rights protection; The Moroccan Consumer Protection Observatory’s consumer rights include:
● The right to security: The consumer has the right to protection from products, production processes, and services that are harmful to the consumer’s health and safety;
● The right to receive an invoice: The consumer has the right to receive an invoice dated containing his/her name, address, good`s type and price, quantity, or type of service and its price, details, and any other data;
● The right to know: The consumer has the right to be provided with the facts that help him/her to buy and consume properly and help him/her to realize his/her fundamental rights and responsibilities;
● Right of choice: The right to choose between many alternatives of goods and services at competitive prices with quality assurance;
● The right to be heard: To be represented by The Moroccan Consumer Protection Observatory in official and non-official parties and to have consumers’ views taken into account for purposes of developing goods and services;
● The right to satisfy consumers’ basic needs: The consumer has the right to basic essential goods and services such as food, clothing, shelter, health care, and education;
● Right to compensation: The consumer has the right to a fair settlement of his/her legitimate claims, including compensation for misinformation, poor goods, unsatisfactory services, or any practices that are harmful to the consumer;
● Right to education: The consumer has the right to acquire the knowledge and techniquesnecessary for the exercise of aware testing between goods and services and to be aware ofhis/her fundamental rights, responsibilities and how to use them through a sustainableoutreach program;
● The right to live in a healthy environment: The consumer has the right to live and work in a
risk-free environment;
